*2016 NoVAGO Murder Mystery Cache#9: The Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel (GC6N29P). This is a family friendly wherigo that takes place along the Long Branch Trail at Rutherford Park in Fairfax, VA.

The NoVAGO PD has requested that you meet with a super-secret society, the Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel, who is in desperate need of your help with their investigation of the strange supernatural activities at Rutherford Park, a former research facility of Diamondlog Enterprises. At this facility, Diamondlog Enterprises was conducting a top secret program called the Isosceles Project, which upon completion, would revolutionize the Geocaching world. Whatever dastardly deeds Diamondlog Enterprises is up to, the Isosceles Project was huge failure, and the project was abruptly shut down. Since then, the research facility in this area has been torn down, buried, and turned into the lovely park that you see here today. However, the residents in the surrounding community have reported seeing instances of unnatural creatures and oddities appearing in this park, which suggests that the Isosceles Project was not a failure as previously reported.
